My mom is in a bit of a pickle, she’s was going to file a chapter 7 and has been paying the attorney for a year, but since the beginning the laws have changed and now she doesn’t qualify, she may qualify for a chapter 13 but she does not want to go that route because she has to pay her mother $3000 a month, and with a chapter 13 it would not allow her to do this.
She needs to find a different way to go, does anyone know of a debt consolidation that could help at this point?

careonecredit.com or just stop paying and accept a blot on her credit report.

She should try to negotiate the amount she pays her mother each month. If she doesn’t want to go through Ch. 13, she will need to start paying off the debt.
Tough road but it does have an end.

She needs to work with her attorney on this.
The laws vary locally and by state, in addition to federally.
You should not trust specific information from the internet because it varies by location.
