from You’re not perfect either
I am speaking of an FHA mortgage that has left me about $20,000 in debt. Its now on my credit report but has no date on there of when it will come off. I am assuming this means it never will. There were times when I paid on it but now I live alone and don’t have any extra money.

7 years from DOLA (Date of Last Activity) is when it will come off. Paying it when you didnt have an illness could be viewed as consent. But yes, 7years from date of last activity (so last payment).
However, most mortgages are secured by title to your home so be careful there.

You don’t provide any details but I’m going to assume you’re talking about yourself. Maybe if you could actual get medical documentation proving you were metally ill at the time you may have a chance.
